Colored pencil has finally come into its own as a recognized fine art medium. They are clean,
portable, and require no other additives or solvents. They don’t dry out or go bad when not in use.
In this class youwill learn how to create subtle shading and rich, vibrant color, value, and transparency. I will show you how to layer color, building up to the opaque and smooth application of pigment. I will also cover basic drawing and painting principles and color theory. Both novice and expert students are welcome. Teens to adults.
